Beautiful ring for the price..

To be honest when I ordered this ring I thought I would return it if I don't like it. I've seen lots of rings with similar condition. I've seen 10K with 1/10 ct. at $99.99 and 10k with 1/4 ct. at $199 and 14k with 1/4 ct at $299. The first two rings I've seen at retail shops.. didn't look good. Diamond on $99 ring was too yellow and diamond on $199 ring was too cloudy. Then I saw this ring at amazon.com there was 20% promotion (I bought this at $119.20# and I still had some time so I thought I would try... If I didn't like it then I was gonna return it and just buy $299 ring. My expectation was very low...



I got this ring today... I was speechless... It really was beyond my expectation. Diamond is shiny and sparkling. This ring doesn't look cheap at all. This ring looks just as good as $299 ring that I was gonna buy.... or even better..... I am completely satisfied...



In addition MontRed customer service was great too. The ring was supposed to be shipped by yesterday but I didn't get it. So I called customer service to cancel the order. #Like I said my expectation was low.. ) But then this really kind customer service guy apologized to me saying there was defect on my ring so they had to make a new ring. He said he would ship it overnight so that I could get it today. Well... You can always make a mistake when you do the business but I think what really makes difference is how to handle it. Great Ring and Customer Service

I wanted to write a review of this ring for a couple of reasons:



Nobody had reviewed this particular ring yet and

I really appreciated reading other customers' reviews when I was trying to make such a difficult decision.



This ring has an identical brother that offers a 1/2 carat if that might be better suited to some people. That ring's reviews would probably also be useful to anyone considering this ring.



Like those reviews I'll say that while the ring's band is a bit thinner than it appears in the photo it's a great ring. It's beautiful feminine and the diamond's size is substantial. I had no concept of carats before ordering this ring and I now feel confident that this size is quite sufficient. However if you know your partner has explicitly stated a desire for a large diamond then by all means...go up a 1/2 carat or more. If you just want a ring that is well designed modest and will be loved by its future owner then this is your ring.



Also I fumbled a bit on the sizing when I ordered. I initially ordered a size 6 since that's "average" before finally getting a hold of my girlfriend's jewelry box and discovering that she's a 7 1/2. I emailed DivaDiamonds and received an almost immediate response from a representative named Ryan. He was incredibly courteous changed my size just in time and I received the ring exactly 2 days later fully wrapped and in a classic black ring box.



So for all those guys who need a helping hand selecting a ring for the down to earth girl this is a safe bet.More detail ...

Great inexpensive ring

This ring looks great at the picture but unfortunately in real life it's a little different. At the picture it looks like there's more yellow gold and just a quarter or third of ring is white gold. The ring I've got has quarter of yellow gold and the rest is white gold. Other than that it is excellent ring for such price and it still looks great. Very beautiful ring!

I received this ring as and engagement ring and let me tell you I love it. I thought for the price that the diamonds would be horrible but the only flaws are what can be seen under a microscope...I took it to a jeweler. The center stone looks like its one carat in itself beautiful setting. One drawback please read all the fine print because they do not give you an option when ordering to resize so it comes in a little spot that states the size.More detail ...
